a recent Bleeding Cool op-ed highlights the growing "gatekeeping" presence in today's pop culture fandom. Dburt has a more nuanced view of how observers have to be careful not to label mild disagreement as tantamount to gatekeeping; even more comic-related news, i.e. a new DCEU Supergirl being cast; thoughts about the Marvel-Netflix embargo being lifted and how (or if) those characters can be rebooted.
